In this section, we invite a person related to the field of artists’ publications to answer seven questions of a questionnaire with images.
The main rule is that each question must be answered only with photographs or images, without captions or descriptions.
For version #6 we invited German art historian and curator Regine Ehleiter to answer the questionnaire.
Let’s see the results.
An image that defines your work
A treasured object in your home
Show us what the sky looks like as you answer this questionnaire
An exhibition that moved you
An essential book in your library
An artwork to which you constantly come back
A spoiler of what you are currently working on
Regine Ehleiter is a Berlin-based art historian and curator with a research focus on exhibition history, artists’ publications, conceptualism and contemporary photography. Her doctoral thesis ‘Ausstellen in Publikationen’, a transnational study of exhibitions in the form of publications in the 1960s, has just been published by Edition Metzel. Together with Tabea Nixdorff, she runs the curatorial event series, ‘Reading Artists’ Books’, initiated in memory of the late Chicago-based librarian, artist and author Doro Boehme. Most recently, she has organised the first solo exhibition in Germany of the work of the Argentinian conceptual artist Mirtha Dermisache (7 June –11 August 2024), a collaborative project by the EXC ‘Temporal Communities’, A—Z, oxfordberlin and the Legado Mirtha Dermisache.
