Tour (Revised) | Fernando Pérez Villalón

A trip around the world (actually several mixed trips). 41 descriptions of photographs taken with two analog cameras, grouped into 36 modules of 99 words each, 36 photographs of the transcription and printing of a travel diary, 36 fragments of scripto drawings by Paula Dittborn of 6 of the photographs (3 in color and 3 in black and white), and 36 photographs of objects collected during these trips. The original edition of Tour was 300 copies of 8.5 x 13 cm, all different. Each book had 36 pages, randomly selected and combined by the readers, from a total of 36 sheets of 4 pages each. Each copy was bound in red, blue and yellow cardboard and machine sewn by Antonia Casali and Martín Pinilla, and then stamped with the title and date of publication (November 26, 2011) on the front cover and the credits and ISBN on the inside back cover. The book was presented and assembled at the AFA Gallery with a collective reading of the descriptive texts and a musical performance by Otro Trio. This new edition consists of 100 copies that contain all the materials of the original edition, with the text of the descriptions reordered and revised, readable in continuous sequence, adding a postface by Ana María Risco and this note by the author.
