First edition based on the single copy of Javiera Pintocanales’ artists’ book, Del viaje, el vuelo (I). This preceding work originates from a set of definitions that compose its script. This script is the initial and only text in the book and it generates a journey from the images that illustrate it. Thus, prints and drawings of paired wings follow each other until they reach their constituent element, the feather.

The cover of this edition corresponds to a transcription of the volumes and profiles of the feathers that conformed the cover of the original work, and was made in two pieces which were stamped, embossed and folded by hand by the authors.

Graphic designer and editorial artist, she lives in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Her artistic work is centered in the dilemma of content and container, she explores the formal and structural limits of the book and as such its real essence.
