Alquimia II | Guillermo Núñez

Alquimia originates from a series of drawings made in the early 1990s. These drawings were scanned and reproduced through screen printing, then altered to transform the same idea over and over again.

For an exhibition of these drawings, Guillermo Núñez wrote the texts La peregrinación a Ñancahuazú de T.W. Adorno y Alice B. Toklas, Bitácora de Taller, and Viaje Interior.

Guillermo Núñez named this artist’s book Alquimia, as it is a finished element that allows for future alterations.

This edition, Alquimia II, includes the text La peregrinación a Ñancahuazú de T.W. Adorno y Alice B. Toklas and a set of 12 prints of the paintings that make up Alquimia.
