Bobby Sands desfallece en el muro | Guillermo Núñez

Publication by artist Guillermo Núñez, launched in 2005, in which he rewrites Carmen Berenguer’s 1983 poem dedicated to the Northern Irish revolutionary Bobby Sands, who died in prison after an extended hunger strike.

The publication reconstructs the structure of days of the original poem, but through Núñez’s expressive calligraphy and her characteristic drawings.

The book was printed in a run of 10 signed and numbered copies, and its cover has a photo-engraved plate with the artist’s calligraphy.
