Diario de viaje is a publication that reproduces the prison diary of Núñez, who was in the hands of agents of the Pinochet dictatorship from May to October 1974.

The diary, a reproduction of the original manuscript, narrates his experiences in prison through texts and drawings.

The edition consists of 30 numbered and signed copies, with a cover handmade by the artist.

Guillermo Núñez (1930-2024) Santiago de Chile. Chilean visual artist. National Visual Arts Award 2007.

A multifaceted artist, throughout his career he devoted himself to different areas of creation, seeking points of encounter and integration of disciplines. He developed paintings, engravings, serigraphs, photo-serigraphs, installations, artist’s books and object art, with themes that refer to historical events, wars, disputes and personal experiences, which show and denounce violence and human destruction.
