The first version I read of Dinosaurios […] had the subtitle, in parentheses, “poetic remix,” and in fact the text is something like a series of variations on the well-known text of the song “Los dinosaurios” by Charly García, while Todos vuelven dialogues with a well-known theme in the version by Rubén Blades […]. So these are texts that work along the lines of rewriting, of appropriation, in this case not literally, but in a broad sense: these texts give us the feeling of something vaguely known, familiar, but not entirely recognizable or identifiable. Songs that were imprinted in our affective memory but that time has erased and that return as distant echoes in these poems.
