El cielo como abismo | Guillermo Núñez

Artist’s book by Guillermo Núñez to be released in conjunction with the exhibition of the same name in 2012. In this publication, Guillermo Núñez explores pain, death, and the human nature that has destroyed the beauty of existence on many occasions throughout history. Through quotations, historical facts, and his own poetic texts, Núñez recounts a personal and universal chronology of violence, coldness, and suffering. These texts appear on the page as small lights mixed with drawings that often seem to show bodies hanging by their feet, to which he adds color in varying degrees of presence. El cielo como abismo’ has an edition of 99 numbered and hand-bound copies. Each book is digitally printed and signed by the author.
