La Quinta del Sordo | Guillermo Núñez

La Quinta del Sordo was born out of the idea of creating an exhibition about pain in Germany. Initially, Núñez worked with a photograph of the Buchenwald concentration camp, altering it with texts of his own composition, in order to later create a book on the subject.

This edition of 7 books was created for the exhibition at the Matucana 100 Cultural Centre in Santiago, Chile, in 2003.

The title is a tribute to the Spanish painter Francisco de Goya y Lucientes.
