novela/VIA is an object-book consisting of a folded envelope closed with sealing wax that contains two texts which give it the title. The first of them, Novel, is a series of seven poems which dialogue in the style of the adventure novels that the children of the end of the century used to read, in which the register of the far west, the oriental exoticism, the pirates and the musketeers tales, accompanied by a drawing and several illustrations of the artist Marcos Sanchez intermingled. VIA is a collection of eight poems which evoke a train trip, written from the regulated Chinese octet of the Tang dynasty (lûshi).each text has four pairs of verbs, two of them are compulsory parallel. The diptics can be read vertical or horizontally.

About the author
Fernando Pérez Villalón ha publicado numerosos textos críticos, entre ellos el ensayo La imagen inquieta (2016), los libros de poemas voces versos movimientos (2004) y Pasajes (2007), varios libros objeto (entre ellos Tour, 2011, y 30ytantos, 2013) y una colección de traducciones de poesía china clásica (Escrito en el aire, 2013). Forma parte del proyecto de poesía y música «Orquesta de poetas», con el que produjo el libro-DVD Declaración de principios (2014) y el disco dclrcndprncps (2017). Es académico de los Departamentos de Arte y de Lengua y Literatura de la Universidad Alberto Hurtado y doctor en Literatura Comparada por la Universidad de Nueva York.
